NOVEMBER 14, 2002
A message from your Captains:

"It was a great year for the entire Portage Northern soccer program.  We went farther than anyone expected us to go.  All of you should be proud of your accomplishments this year, as a team and as individuals.  Good luck to all you underclassmen next year!  I know Matt and I had a great time playing and learning with you guys."

NOVEMBER 5, 2002
A message from your Captains:

"Again we are the under-dog boys, the state thinks East Lansing is going to come out on top in the semi's.  We've proved the state wrong numerous times this year, especially against Mattawan, lets do it again.  We want this State Championship more, every minute counts, lets go get it."

OCTOBER 28, 2002
A message from your Captains:

"Regionals start tomorrow (Tuesday) verse Mattawan.  It's that time of the year where every game counts.  We need to prove the state wrong and come out so hard they won't even know what hit them.  We have been the under dog all year long, the third time is a charm fellas, go out with everything you got."

"Scars fade, bruises heal, but Victory is forever."

AUGUST 10, 2002
A message from your Seniors:

With tryouts next week and the season quickly beginning, make sure to eat and drink healthy.  Stretch everyday, take a jog on the days we don't have tryouts, and prepare for the season to come.  Overall, the summer Senior practices were a success.  Those of you who came will appreciate the extra wind you have this next week.  Looking forward to a good season...

JUNE 28, 2002
A message from your Seniors:

We would like to see all of you out on the fields this summer training.  Pre-season training is vital for a good tryout and a good year to come.  We suggest that all of you attend our practices run by Scott Lemons and Matt Brown.  Everyday your not getting better, your getting worse.  We'll see you out on the field.
